30 January 2024
Journalist Hossam Shabat reports a gruesome discovery this evening. He writes,
A major crime has been uncovered in northern Gaza. The bodies of citizens were discovered handcuffed with cloth over their eyes, and they had been executed. We found them under a mountain of rubble and garbage.
Resistance News Network on Telegram provides additional details:
🚨 30 bodies left in plastic body bags were discovered in the Khalifa bin Zayed school in Beit Lahia in the northern #Gaza Strip following IOF withdrawal.
All 30 people were executed by the IOF, with their hands tied behind their backs, eyes covered with cloth, and their bodies concealed in zip-up bags buried under the sand by the zionist occupation forces.

Notes from besieged northern Gaza this morning:
- The occupation forces besiege Jabalia and northern Gaza for the 18th day with continuous artillery shelling and shooting at citizens' homes and shelters
- The israeli occupation forces destroy a number of citizens' homes in the Beit Lahia project
- Hundreds of appeals from families trapped in Jabalia camp and Beit Lahia project to rescue and evacuate them
- Director of the Indonesian Hospital: The occupation prevents the Red Cross from providing medical staff and patients with food and water.
- Dozens of martyrs and injuries in the streets of Beit Lahia project and Jabalia camp after the displaced were targeted by drones and artillery
- The israeli occupation army imposes a siege by fire on the Beit Lahia project, where tens of thousands of displaced people are present in this area.
- Martyrs and wounded in israeli shelling targeting citizens near Al-Qassam Mosque in Beit Lahia
- “Beit Lahia project is now being literally wiped out”
- Quadcopter aircraft besiege Khalifa bin Zayed School in the Beit Lahia project in the northern Gaza Strip with fire, and call on thousands of displaced persons to leave forcibly or face death and arrest threats.
- Shrouds run out in hospitals, families bury their loved ones in holes in the roads and homes without shrouds
- Kamal Adwan Hospital is surrounded by fire and medical crews are unable to move to rescue the wounded and martyrs
- As a result of the ongoing israeli bombing, three schools caught fire: Kuwait, Aleppo, and Hamad, which are the main schools in Jabalia camp, north of the Strip. Refugee shelters.
- “Calls in the quadcopters in northern Gaza, in Jabalia and Beit Lahia to evacuate, to blow up entire neighborhoods at once... Death, suffering, displacement and destroyed homes, all of them came together on us at one time and in one moment. For those outside Gaza, the entire Gaza Strip is barely the size of a small street in Cairo. To put the picture more clearly, the explosions that occur in Jabalia can be heard in Khan Younis.”

Boeing 787-9 Etihad Airways
Registration: A6-BNE Type: 787-9 Engines: 2 × GE GEnx-1B74/75 Serial Number: 39671 First flight: Aug 26, 2023
Etihad Airways was founded in July 2003 by decree of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the ruler of Abu Dhabi. The name “Etihad,” meaning “Union” in Arabic, reflects its goal of uniting people through travel. The first flight on November 5, 2003, from Abu Dhabi to Beirut marked the start of a journey that, over two decades, has turned the airline into an industry leader. By 2008, Etihad was carrying 6 million passengers annually, and today its network spans over 90 destinations.
Unlike its neighbor Emirates, Etihad has focused not just on scale but on innovation. In 2007, the airline opened its headquarters in Khalifa City, investing $50 million in a state-of-the-art complex with a pilot training center. In 2014, Etihad unveiled “The Residence,” a three-room luxury suite on its Airbus A380, which became a sensation in the aviation world. The journey hasn’t been without turbulence: in the 2010s, losses from investments in Alitalia and Air Berlin forced a strategic rethink. Yet, by 2025, Etihad has returned to positive growth, focusing on steady development and fleet modernization.
The Boeing 787-9 and 787-10 Dreamliner are the most numerous aircraft in Etihad’s fleet, with 43 currently in service and more on the way. Their large windows with electrochromic dimming and optimized cabin pressure make flights to Sydney, Tokyo, or Frankfurt less fatiguing.
Etihad is actively modernizing its fleet, aiming to expand to 150 aircraft by 2030. The airline expects delivery of 10 more A321neos, three A350-1000s, and four additional Dreamliners. As for the Boeing 777, after contract restructuring, Etihad has an option to purchase 777X aircraft but could also opt for more 787s. The 777X is not part of their five-year fleet expansion plan.

24 December 2023
Journalist Momin Abuowda documents the intense destruction of Khalifa Bin Zayed School in Beit Lahiya, northern Gaza. Thousands of people sought shelter in the school until IOF attacked, driving displaced families out with nowhere to go. They proceeded to destroy the interior of the school.
Schools are protected from attack under international law. Civilian shelters are also protected. Or supposed to be. Civilians as well are supposed to be protected under international law. Genocides are made possible by the complete failure of the international community to follow its own laws.

The Israeli army detained and severely abused dozens of Palestinian civilians in the northern Gaza Strip, said Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor, surrounding two shelter centres in the town of Beit Lahia for days before beating the individuals and stripping them of their clothes. Euro-Med Monitor received reports that Israeli forces launched random and arbitrary arrest campaigns against displaced people, including doctors, academics, journalists, and elderly men, in the Khalifa Bin Zayed and New Aleppo schools, both of which are affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA). The sister of journalist Diaa Al-Kahlot told Euro-Med Monitor that members of the Israeli military forced Al-Kahlot to leave his seven-year-old disabled child, Nada, on her own. He was then taken into custody at gunpoint and, like all of the other detainees, had his clothes removed after being beaten severely. Muhammad Al-Kahlot, who is of no relation to Diaa Al-Kahlot, said that the Israeli forces deliberately set fire to several homes in the Beit Lahia area and launched random arrest campaigns against the remaining residents. Euro-Med Monitor has documented incidents of sniping and direct killing carried out by the Israeli army against displaced people in the vicinity of the two aforementioned schools. The Geneva-based human rights organisation stated that members of Israel’s army targeted everyone who tried to leave, even though they were raising white flags. A young man called Mohammed Al-Rai told the Euro-Med Monitor team that he saw at least seven other young men shot and killed by the Israeli forces in separate incidents, due to their refused to undress and comply with the humiliating orders of the army. Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor called for the opening of an urgent investigation into the Israeli army’s violations against civilians and for the United Nations to assume its responsibilities for acting to protect displaced Palestinian people and ensure their safety.

“Al Nahyans will be my favourite royals for any reason! Just see their persons in various fields and you will praise them. From Issa bin Zayed to Sultan bin Zayed or bin Khalifa, you will find the proof. These names are controversial and Issa is an inhumane. They are/were not involved in Government works. Whenever, an Al Nahyan indulge into controversy, Ruler remove them. MBZ made it sure that his sons will be of high morality and well behaved, he raised them in that way. Big thanks to his wife.” - Submitted by Anonymous
